Brad and Regina Thompson
Brad and Regina have been involved in missions in Guatemala since 1985. Following three AIM terms, they became career missionaries in 1989. Their three sons have been in missions all their lives and are actively involved in their parents’ work. The Thompsons guided the UPC of Guatemala through the nationalization process. In 2005 he stepped aside as president, and the first national president was elected. Regina Thompson also resigned as the ladies director. Now all governing positions in the UPC of Guatemala are filled by nationals. The Thompsons are the supervising missionaries and lead the education and training ministries, one of the UPC’s most successful overseas Bible college training programs. With a student body enrollment of over 240 and three schools established throughout the country, the Bible college has become the heart of the UPC of Guatemala and has added great strength, stability, and vision to the work.
